Protecting the privacy of children is of utmost importance to Triangle, the company behind the Brainstorm app. For this reason, we have implemented features that are specifically designed to safeguard the personal information of children who use our app ("Child Users").

When a child creates an account on the Brainstorm app, we require the consent of a parent or legal guardian ("Parent") for the child to use our services. We do this to ensure that we are complying with the Protection of Personal information act (POPI) and to provide parents with greater control over their child's personal information.

In cases where the Brainstorm app is used by a school in an educational setting, we rely on the school to provide the necessary consent on behalf of the Parent for us to collect information from a school user under the age of 13. We work closely with schools to ensure that we are complying with all relevant privacy laws and regulations, and we take extra precautions to protect the personal information of all Child Users who use our app.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Brainstorm app prior to the change becoming effective.
